Review: Ciaté London Chloe Morello Beauty Haul Makeup Set

I’ve been looking forward to this makeup set since Chloe Morello announced the collaboration a couple months ago, so glad to finally get my hands on it! Incase you’re not familiar with Chloe, she’s a Australian beauty YouTube content creator. She does beauty related YouTube videos on her channel, all which are stunningly beautiful and easy to follow. Ciaté London is a British makeup brand mostly known for their wonderful nail polish and recently have been making receiving a lot of attention for their makeup collection. The Ciaté London and Chloe Morello collaboration was clearly a great match, the makeup set truly did not disappoint. The set consists of a fifteen shade eye shadow palette, a mini Liquid Velvet lipstick, and a mini Wonderland mascara.

The thing I looked forward to the most in this set was the eye shadow palette. The Pretty Fun and Fearless palette has a total of fifteen eye shadow shades which are a selection of Ciaté London’s best-selling and shades curated by Chloe herself. The various shades allow you to create an endless amount of looks - everything from day to night. The shadow formula is amazing, not only do they easily blend but they also have a great color payoff. The more metallic shades are beautiful on their own and you can also dampen your brush for a more intense application. The shadows have minimal fall out, work great together, and with other shadows. I will say I wish it had a matte black to complete the palette, but then again wouldn’t replace any shade to include it. A few of my favorite shades are day dream, fierce, happy, jet setter, shine bright, and queen bee - though to be honest they are all amazing.

The set also include a mini Liquid Velvet lipstick in the color pin up and a mini Wonderland mascara, which are two of their best-selling products. The lipstick formula is matte, not drying, and comfortable to wear (unlike mani matte liquid lipsticks). I’ve seen the lipstick worn on multiple skin tones and it looks great on all, it’s a deep warm mauve nude color that’s good for everyday wear. The mascara honestly surprised me, it’s so good (and i’m very picky with mascara formulas)! The wand and formula remind me of the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, which is one of favorite mascaras. I always go for bold lashes and this mascara provides that in a couple coats and the best thing is that it does not smudge and it’s so easy to remove.

This makeup set would make a great gift this holiday season and it’s definitely worth checking it out! If you have this makeup set or if you think there are any sets I should try let me know in the comments below.
