Photo Diary: Ibiza

Daydreaming of being back in Ibiza today as I sit here not wanting to do any work on a Monday morning (who else dreads Mondays like I do?). I had a chance to visit the small island last month while visiting Spain with my sister. Ibiza was a great break to take in between cities. It was not summer season yet so the island was relatively calm, well at least in the area that my sister and I stayed in. It was a few days filled with walks along the beach, laying out in the sun, and just enjoying the fresh sea air.

What I loved the most about Ibiza was that it was beautiful in any direction you looked. The beach waters were clear and the locals were welcoming. We stayed near Playa de Figueretes and Playa d’en Bossa, they were both beautiful beaches. Playa de Figueretes had restaurants along the beach which were great place to have lunches with a view.  Playa d’en Bossa had the best spots to layout and enjoy the sun. The one thing I would recommend when visiting Ibiza is to rent a car, its helpful when you’re exploring different towns within the island to have means of transportation. They do have buses on the island, but from what I noticed they do not run very often.

I will definitely be returning to Ibiza in the future and explore other parts of the beautiful island. Be sure to let me know what are some of your favorite island destinations in the comments below!
