Review: Tarte Tarteist Pro To Go Amazonian Clay Palette

Let me introduce you to your new favorite travel-ready eye shadow palette: Tarte Tarteist Pro To Go Amazonian Clay Palette. The palette includes six shades, three metallics (boss, hype, dominate) and three mattes (drive, stylin, crisp). The formula is infused with Amazonian clay which make the shadows soft, easy to blend, and long-lasting. The metallics are just as vibrant on as they look in the pan and the mattes are unbelievably smooth. The shades lean towards the warmer end of the spectrum; however, I believe they would work with any skin tone. This is one of those great everyday palettes which are perfect for travelling because they are fuss-free, all the shadows needed to create multiple looks in one palette. In addition to the shadows being amazing, they also smell amazing! It’s this subtle sweet smell, kind of like candy/sugar, whatever it is I love it!

This is one of those palettes where every color is a favorite, I honestly wouldn’t be able to choose just one. The one tip I would recommend is tapping the excess shadow off the brush before applying to minimize fall out. Also, using a flat shader brush with the metallic shadows will help intensify the color, or if you would like to kick it up a notch just dampen your brush. The combination I’m currently loving is ‘drive’ on the lid with a touch of ‘hype’ in the center for a hint of shimmer, ‘crisp’ through the crease, and ‘stylin’ on the lash line for a soft eyeliner look. I’m totally obsessed with this palette and highly recommend checking it out !
